list of things I love - 1/100 [Violin]
I’ve been playing the violin for about four years now and to be quite honest, I don’t love every second of it. I started learning violin simply because it was a choice between the violin or the piano, I’ve had experiences with the keyboard before and I didn’t want to repeat that horrendous experience again, thus I chose the violin. Starting off wasn’t easy, I hated practicing and loathed the mundane music that I was given. But in the first three years, I passed level ten RCM exam and was involved in youth orchestras and competitions; and the reason behind all these /achievements I guess you could say/ is my violin teacher. Cecilia is extremely passionate about music, and she made sure that I was getting the full experience. Now thinking in retrospect, I’m very grateful for her actions, or else violin would just be another skill learned without enjoyment.
